Description

Conversor MM1 microphones are powerful lightweight directional microphones that plug easily into voice recorders and lap-top computers for recording lectures or group discussions. They can also be used with standard loop amplifiers to enhance the sound level and quality received by wearers of Telecoil equipped Hearing Instruments within the loop’s range.

Conversor microphones increase the available sound level and filter out unwanted background noise.

Conversor microphones are ideal for use in a variety of settings that support the special needs of individuals with learning difficulties or hearing loss including classrooms, lecture halls, conference facilities, museums, health facilities, government agencies and work environments.

Conversor microphones can be placed in a raised position on a nearby surface and pointed at the sound source. The Conversor MM1 microphone can be used as in car microphone, lapel microphone, or attached to a lap-top screen using the accessory clips provided.

Conversor directional microphones can be used with Conversor Pro Recorder, a recording App for use on iOS and Windows 8 enabled smartphones and tablets. Conversor Pro Recorder includes Andrea Electronics’ patented noise cancellation technology to enhance the clarity of the sound signal being recorded with up to 38dB of noise cancellation possible. Lectures and meetings can be recorded with an unlimited number of bookmarks for annotation. Conversor Pro Recorder can be played back using a Listenor Pro to amplify the sound level, or uploaded to a PC for subsequent editing and annotation using a number of audio management software programs.

Conversor microphones require no batteries or recharging, since they are powered directly by the voice recorder, smartphone, or loop amplifier.
