You should apply for Disabled Students' Allowance as soon as possible. You don't have to wait until you have a confirmed place, although you can apply at any stage of your course.
You can contact a Disability Adviser at your University or College if you require any assistance filling in the form.
Evidence
To show that you qualify for the Disabled Students' Allowance, you will need to provide evidence that you have a disability, medical condition, sensory impairment, mental-health condition, or a specific learning difficulty (such as dyslexia) which affects your ability to study.
Application Form
You should apply for DSAs as soon as possible. You do not have to wait until you have a confirmed place at University or College, although you can apply at any stage of your course.
Approval Letter
Your DSA Funding Provider will look at your application and send you a letter to let you know if you qualify.
